BOATEC owner and operator, Bruce Nagel, started his business doing fiberglass boat repair in 1989. With the emergence of off-road truck racing and its gain in popularity, BOATEC started making fiberglass reinforced plastic racing bodies for many of the top Championship Off-Road Racing (CORR) and SCORE teams. Since then he has turned the business into a multi-million dollar operation shipping parts across the U.S. as well as other countries such as Australia, Mexico, and Canada. BOATEC uses state-of-the-art Closed-Mold and Open-Mold manufacturing processes.
These fiberglass reinforced plastic race bodies are being used in off-road truck racing, short course, stadium and desert racing by names such as 5 time CORR Pro-4 series champion, Johnny Greaves, 3 time CORR Pro-2 series champion, Carl Renezeder, Pro-Lite Champ Chad Hord, and others like Curt LeDuc, Scott Douglas and Josh Baldwin.
BOATEC racing bodies are beautifully finished and ready to use when customers receive them. They are gel-coated during the manufacturing process which means no additional painting, finishing or sanding is required. BOATEC offers custom paint jobs to meat the special branding or color schemes of your sponsors or to give your vehicle a unique look.
